The Eagle Foundation was founded in 2007 and registered with the Government of Ghana as a non-governmental organization in 2009 by native Ghanaian Daniel Nii- Adom Odonkor. While studying at the university three female friends decided to defer their computer science and management course and take up a course in business, all effort to help them study and succeed in the computer science field failed, this inspired Daniel instantly and caused him to take first steps empower others through computer training at the grassroots level. He began researching and decided to promote Information Communication Technology in schools, He came up with numerous ICT programs that includes a girls in tech camp, rural kids in technology training programs and Webykids.
